Verse Piece Swords Explained
Swords are yourprimary damage sourceinVerse Piece, especially in the late game. They grant youenhanced M1 attacksand a variety of other powerful moves. Each sword has up tofive moves(Z, X, C, V, F). Lower rarity swords usually only have two or three, whileMythicandExoticswords typically have at least four moves andvery high damage.

The above tier list ranks all swords inVerse Pieceprimarily based on theirDPS,M1 damage,AoE, and the amount ofCCthey have. When calculating the DPS of each sword, we took thecooldownandchannel timeof their moves into consideration as well. However, in the list below, we listed only thebase damagefor each of the swordâs moves.
Best Swords in Verse Piece
Voidedge(Cid V3) is currently the best sword inVerse Piecebecause of its high M1 damage and long-duration attacks that can easily CC enemies permanently.Lancerand Uryu have the highest burstdamage of all swords, and thatâs why they share second place.Rowanhasa lot of CCand very high M1 damage.Sung Jin Woohas excellentbleedand decent M1 damage.Cid V2andEmiyahave more damage in their kitsbutless overall DPScompared to other swords.
TojiV2,Red Mist,Yoriichi, andKokushiboare all great, withdecent AoEandvery high damagethat is only slightly lower than Cid V2âs. Swords placed in A tier and below either lack M1 damage, DPS, or AoE when compared to the S-tier swords.

How to Enhance Swords in Verse Piece
You canenhanceyour swords inVerse Pieceby interacting with theBlacksmith NPCon theBlacksmith Isle. However, each upgrade costs you oneEnhance Stone, and there is only a10% chanceof it being successful. So,on average, you will need50 Enhance Stonesto max out a sword.
How to Get Enhance Stones
Thebest way to farm Enhance StonesinVerse Pieceisto startfishing. Alternatively, you cantradeforEnhance Stones, get them fromchests, orminethem.Chests are dropped by Bossesfound around the map and indungeons. The best method for farming chests is grinding Boss Rush dungeons. Each Boss Rush dungeon contains five Bosses, and all of them drop one to two chests when you defeat them.
