The Callisto Protocolinitially released on various platforms back in 2022, and the reviews from players at the timeweren’t favorable. Players were left baffled by the juxtaposition between the spooky atmosphere and clunky combat, which focuses heavily on Melee patterns and combos. However,The Callisto Protocolhas received various updates and additions since its initial release, with New Game + and Hardcore Mode now included with the base game. There are also DLCs providing more animations and various modes to try out, although they don’t come included as part of the free deal.
