Console version to follow at a later date

Nicalis has announced thatRepentance,the long-awaited final expansionfor miserable adventureThe Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, will be making its debut on the PC platform March 31, with console editions to follow some time later down the line.

It’s been a wait, but Nicalis has assured fans thatThe Binding of Isaac: Repentancewill be more than worth it. Described by the publisher as “Bigger than a sequel”,Repentancewill feature new story chapters, extra playable characters, new challenges and achievements, and over 100 new items and enemies – including 25 boss battles. In a press release, Nicalis equates this new content to a whopping 500 hours of gameplay.

The Binding of Isaac: Repentancewill be the final update to Ed McMillen’s darkly comic adventure, which first launched on PS4, PS Vita, and PC back in 2014, and has since been ported to numerous other platforms including Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. To date,The Binding of Isaacand itsRebirthexpansion have sold over five million copies combined.
