Beautiful strategy title locks in release date

Publisher Versus Evil and developer Stoic Studios have announced a secure release date for the Nintendo Switch release of their strategy sequel, The Banner Saga 2. The game will be made available for purchase on June 7.

Originally released on PS4, Xbox One, PC and mobile devices in 2016, The Banner Saga 2 retains the unique hand-drawn visuals and tactical combat of its predecessor, while bringing in new elements of choice to make the game’s story even more dramatic and intense. The game also features new characters and a whole new race, the centaur-like Horseborn.

The Banner Saga 2launches on Nintendo Switch June 7 while its follow-up,The Banner Saga 3,is scheduled for release on July 26.
