Japan sales double since last report

“Splatoon Squid Sisters Live 2016” will be held at the Makuhari Messe convention center, the same place where Tokyo Game Show lives.
Now, for a brief breakdown.Splatoonhit 1.6 million worldwide sales by the end of July, or in its first two months of availability. At that time, it had sold half a million in Japan and 1.1 million elsewhere. So in the 5 months since,Splatoonhas moved another half a million in Japan.
It’s also worth noting that the million sold figure includes all copies (retail, digital, pack-in). But the latest physical sales reports haveSplatoon‘s lifetime Japanese sales at 912,335. This means less than 10% of JapaneseSplatoonsales are digital.
