Pretty-boy fencer joins the roster
Bandai Namco has dropped the trailer for one of the last characters to join the roster for the upcoming weapon-based fighterSoulcalibur VI.The flamboyant Raphael is stepping onto the Stage of History, armed with expert swordmanship and the tightest pants.
This “reveal” is of no surprise to anybody, given that Raphael was one of the characters whoaccidentally turned up at a recent tournamentwhen the wrong build was utilised. But at least here, your boy gets a full trailer with which to strut his stuff.
First appearing inSoulcalibur II, the arrogant French aristocrat is recognised by his skilled, balletic fighting style and his sense of opulent fashion. Raphael’sSoulcalibur VIform appears to be eschewing some of his more-recent vampiric qualities, but that doesn’t make him any less of a threat to his skewered opponent.
Soulcalibur VIlaunches on PS4, Xbox One and PC October 19.
