Keep it on the hush-hush
We’ve been given an early glimpse at one of the upcoming DLC characters for SNK’s great fighting titleSamurai Shodown. As leaked by the NESiCAxlive2 app – produced for use with the arcade release – Sogetsu Kazama is expected to join the roster at some point in the future.
The character was discovered by Twitter user@mayotaru12, who simply spotted the character after they showed up in the app’s front end, which cycles images of random character every time you login. The findwas then retweetedbySamurai Shodownproducer Ysuyuki Oda.
Sogetsu Kazama made his first appearance in 1996’sSamurai Showdown IV, where the handsome samurai works as a demon-slayer for the Sogetsu Clan. It is likely that Kazama will be made available as part of the second wave of character DLC, already confirmed for the stoic fighting title.
Samurai Shodownis available now on PS4 and Xbox One. PC and Nintendo Switch ports are still in the works.
