I need Sniper Elite: Happily Never After

A while ago, we reported thatdeveloper GRIN was closing down. Unfortunately, this meant all of the physical Kickstarter rewards for its gameWoolfe: The Red Hood Diarieswould not be given to backers, and there would be no more of theWoolfeIP.

Fortunately,Sniper Elitedeveloper Rebellion has stepped in.

In an update to the game’s Kickstarter page,it’s been announcedRebellion has bought theWoolfeIP, will ship the physical rewards previously promised, andit is planning a future for the series. What sort of future that is, Rebellion doesn’t know yet, but it wouldn’t make much sense to buy the IP of an indie game that had a mixed reception and do nothing with it.

As part of today’s announcement, Rebellion has made it clear that it intends to honour Kickstarter pledges by deliveringall outstanding physical rewardsto backers as soon as possible…

As for the game’s second episode and the future of the series, Rebellion has not yet made any decision on how it will use the Woolfe property in any further creative work.
