Slug Cat Pups in demand on PS Vita and Wii U

Rain World‘s kickstarteris in its last day, so if you’re looking to get in on all the game’s backer bonuses and the like, you better jump on that quick. Those newly revealedSlug Cat Pups need your protection. In case you missed it,Rain Worlduses a combination of traditional 2D animation and code-based procedural animation, giving the simple sprite based characters a unique, lifelike feeling. It’s a game of survival, featuringGarbage Worms,Stealth Bugs, aBrain Tree that drips, and a lot more.

It’s the kind of game that a lot of people would like to see on consoles, and now that it’s hit the $50K stretch goal, the chances of that happening are looking a lot better. What consoles you ask? According to the game’s developers “…there has been a lot of backer interest in PS Vita and Wii U, so that’s likely where our initial goals will be beyond PC, Mac and Linux, but we are keeping our options open. We’d like for everybody to be able to play!”
