The official release date forEA FC 26is not known yet, but leaks have emerged regarding the pre-order rewards. It’s pretty clear that EA Sports, after a year of incurring hard financials with one of its biggest franchises, is going all in to lure more players to opt for the Ultimate Edition.
Now, remember that none of this is confirmed. However, it will be hard to turn down the Ultimate Edition if the leaked rewards are true, especially compared to what they used to be.

FC 26 leaked pre-order rewards include guaranteed Icons
Here’s a list of all the leaked pre-order rewards.
It’s not stated that the rewards are meant for the Ultimate Edition, but that has been the norm for the last few years. As always, the Ultimate Edition is expected to cost more than the Standard Edition (by at least $20, but that could increase, given the rewards we are supposed to get).

Based on the leaks, we must order our copyon or before August 26to secure the rewards. This also suggests that EA Sports has no plans for an earlier release, assome leakers claimed.
Here’s a comparison of what we got with the Ultimate Edition ofFC 25.

Ask anyone, and they will tell you that a day-one base Icon is always preferable to a Hero. Even if you get one of the lower-tier legends, that card will add much value. The premium version of Season 1 Pass means you’re saving $10 worth of FC Points further and get additional rewards (they will have incredible value when our squads are low on good cards and coins).
The difference between the Standard and Ultimate Editions has always been debated. The leaked rewards suggest that EA Sports wants to increase the sales of the Ultimate Edition. While players can and will always purchase packs, spending more on the Ultimate Edition is a guaranteed bonus for the developers at no extra cost. Additionally, it will also boost their revenues and show the financials in good light to the investors at the end of the financial year.

It remains to be seen whether the leaks are true and whether these “Iconic” attractions will be good enough to lure more players in.
