The final day
The aftermath ofTHQ’s asset salesaw many studios find new homes at various publishers, but not everyone was fortunate enough to be saved. Today is the last day for all employees at THQ proper, and Vigil studios.
Employees have until the end of the day collect all their goods as “access to the building will be shut off” after today, according to a memo obtained byIGN. The final round of payroll occurs today as well, and health benefits for affected staff continues until the end of the month.
The rest of the memo states that there’s no guarantee of employees receiving severance, and that the stock is now worthless.
