This expansion can’t come soon enough PlayingMonster Hunter World: Icebornefeels like coming home. That’s what I fully expected from the upcoming expansion–it’s meant to rival the base game in terms of content and, so far, has looked cool as all hell–but it’s nice to have the sentiment confirmed in-person. Capcom brought two new beasts to E3 2019, and I really couldn’t have asked for a cozier first appointment at the show....

Gamers who wanted to patchBattlefield 3using standalone files are in for a disappointment, with EA confirming that Origin will be the only way to update DICE’s shooter. EA recently served a sizable 3.6GB patch for the game, and fans had requested direct access to the files for faster downloads and the ability to access them on ISP mirrors — very useful for those bound by download caps. Sadly, Electronic Arts isn’t interested....

‘8MEGAPOWER’ One of the concepts thatBloodstainedis bringing over from old school platformers (in addition to things like a boss rush) is cheat codes. Found on Game Sack, one such code will grant you a new weapon at the start of the game by simply creating a new save file under a specific name. At the title screen hit new game then type in “8MEGAPOWER,” all caps, and you’ll get a Game Sack Power Strip item for your efforts....
