While I like the Switch as a whole, there’s no denying that it’s had an uphill battle when it comes to hardware issues from the get-go.
In addition to that confirmed left Joy-Con issue the OS was fairly base level at launch, and tiny little problems have been popping up left and right — like the battery indicator problem. Apparently for some, the battery symbol does not correctly display an accurate reading, whether it’s a false deceleration of 0% or any power level above.

Enough users experienced that the battery icon was incorrect that Nintendo issued a full-on system update in 3.0.1 to fix it. You just…might need to go through the below seven step process toactually finallyfix your system, as the firmware doesn’t magically make it better.
