As part of the opening ceremony of the currently-underway Pokemon World Championship weekend, Tsunekazu Ishihara, president and CEO of The Pokemon Company, shared a bit about their information rollout plan. Evidently, as part of the closing ceremony on August 21, we’ll be getting info on both the trading card gameandPokemon ScarletandViolet.

After Ishihara declared that he had some “news to share about some of ourPokemongames,” the crowd cheered, but it was mainly for things already revealed in the recent franchise stream (saveUnite).
