Well, that didn’t take long at all. In less than a month, someone has come up with a way to makeSkyrimfully functional with the Kinect. And I am absolutely impressed. YouTube userKinectFAASTshows off the intuitive control scheme and library of voice commands he added. A few of the gestures look like they’re a bit wonky with the bow being in the most need of work. But all the voice commands work exactly as they should. Sure, it’s not perfect but it’s a remarkable proof of concept and a leap in the right direction.

To be perfectly honest, I never thought something like this could be possible with the Kinect, and done so well at that. I’m sure some of the experiences on Kinect are all fun in their own right, but this is the kind of thing that would make me finally drop money on the device, if it were to ever happen of course.
