Indie Royale Spring Sun bundle

Despite being largely unfamiliar with two of the five featured games, I’ll go out on a limb and say the new Indie Royale Spring Sun bundleis worth considering. Uber Entertainment’s solid multiplayer-based shooterMonday Night Combatand platforming adventureKnytt Undergroundalone are worth the five-and-a-half-bucks-or-so asking price.

Then there’s alsoThe Real Texas, which Patrick deemed “a bizarre yet satisfying mix of gameplay elements wrapped up in a surprisingly eloquent story with a damn good sense of humor.” The remaining two titles — a shoot-’em-up calledSataziusand a “Metroid-style 3D action game”Gentrieve 2— are new to me, but both look interesting.

By paying $8 or more for the bundle, Indie Royale will also include Ben Landis’ albumAdventures in Pixels. If you like the song featured in the video above, there’s more where that came from.
