Even if Notch thinks Facebook is creepy

Today at Oculus Connect 2 in Los Angeles, company founder and Rift inventor Palmer Luckey announcedMinecraft‘s Windows 10 Edition will support the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset.

The move represents an about face for Mojang, whichcancelleda deal to bring a version of its game to Oculus last year following the company’sacquisitionat the hands of Facebook last year:

While Facebook may still creepMinecraftdesigner Markus “Notch” Persson out, the man no longer has a say in the matter after selling his studio to Microsoft for a reported $2.5 billion.

No release information was revealed, as there’s still no word on when the Rift will be available.
