As part of thePlaystation Showcase 2023, Sony has revealed that theMetal Gear Solid: Snake Eaterremake is actually real. It is confirmed to be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
They’ve also shown off a teaser trailer that doesn’t reveal a whole lot. It starts off with a bunch of animals fighting each other, and then Naked Snake reveals himself.
Still, just the confirmation that this exists is a pretty big deal. The remake has been rumored for yonks now, and I’m sure many people will be excited by this news. I’m personally curious about what a post-Hideo KojimaMetal Gear Solidlooks like, andMetal Gear Survivedoesn’t count. Actually, this kind of doesn’t either, since it’s a remake.
