A few days ago, game designer American James McGee startingyapping on American McGee’s personal blogabout American McGee’s secret project, a Gametap exclusive title,American McGee’s Grimm.
The game, being developed as a series of action/adventure romps (consisting of 24 or more episodes), will take many cues from an older McGee (and arguably, only good) title,American McGee’s Alice. McGee is all McGiddy about once again working with a “twisted fairy tale” universe; and he is just as excited to be working alongside R.J. Berg, Executive Producer and head writer onAlice. Berg will once again be taking on these roles forGrimm, and will not tolerate being called “Ice” around the office this time around.

Gametap continues its rein of awesomeness, with a growing library of deep, original content and sweet classics that you’ll play two or three minutes a piece before falling asleep. But 24 episodes? Yikes. Unless those will be released as individual levels, I wouldn’t be surprised if the project dies around episode 13. Not that I don’t wantAmerican McGee’s Grimmto succeed; I was a huge fan ofAlice, and I look forward to seeing what American McGee has in store.
Just ensure it’s bloody and it gives my cats nightmares. All they do is lounge around the house all day and I’m sick of it.
