The mini-game aspect is in the form of a sidequest called “Fleet Commander”, which allows you to deploy fleets to your console/PC copy ofMass Effect 3and increase your Galactic Readiness Rating — by tapping!
For anyone who has playedMass Effect 3, Galactic Readiness Rating will be a familar term. For everyone else, it’s basically how prepared every part of the universe is for the Reaper invasion (which will affect your ending) — it requires access to the game’s online pass, and can also be upped by multiplayer andMass Effect Infiltrator.
To be clear,there are twoMass Effect 3appsout right now. Datapad is a companion app, andInfiltratoris a fully featured third person shooter with touch controls.
