It looks like the expansive LEGO gaming universe is about to stretch out onto the football pitch, as the ever-faithful spoilers over at The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea hasuploaded a new listingfor an as-yet-unannounced title,LEGO 2K Goooal!
As this is just a ratings board listing, there is very little info to go on. But we’re clearly looking at a soccer title set within the creative building block world of LEGO. This leak ties in withan earlier report by VGCthat revealed The LEGO Company was entering a partnership with 2K Games to develop a series of titles based around recreational sports. Visual Concepts’LEGO 2K Drive, which was released last month, is the first title in this range, andLEGO 2K Goooal!appears to be next in line.
We can expect an official announcement of LEGO 2K Goooal! from 2K Games and developer Sumo Digital at some point in the near-future, perhaps during a summer event such as Gamescom 2023.
