Remember when Nintendo began as a hanafuda card manufacturer? I don’t, because I wasn’t alive in 1889, but maybe there are some Highlanders among you fine folk and I’d be remiss if I didn’t encourage you to decapitate each other. There can be only one. And unlikeHighlander III, this set ofPokemon-themed hanafuda cardsfrom Nintendo is awesome.

The deck will ship late November, but is available forpre-ordernow,Anime News Networkreports. In Japan. It’s also modestly priced at 2,500 yen (~25 USD). It comes with an arted up instruction booklet and packaging as well. The art comes from the originalPokemon RedandGreenpocket monsters. There’s also a framed, uncut set of cards for about $150.
