Grab your Pirate Hat because Ubisoft’s online pirate adventureSkull and Bonesis finally here. With the Open Beta kicking off on February 8 and the full release on February 16, there are some questions. In the age of so many PC gaming platforms, you may be wondering: IsSkull and Boneson Steam? Here’s what we know about the available platforms now and in the future.
Can you getSkull and Boneson Steam?
Skull and Bonesis not on Steam, because it is developed by Ubisoft which has its own Ubisoft Connect client. If you are looking to play on a PC, you will have to get the game either directly through Ubisoft via Ubisoft Connect and the Ubi Store, or through the Epic Games Store client. Keep in mind that even if you purchase through the Epic Games Store Client, it will require you to download Ubisoft Connect to play as it utilizes the Ubisoft servers.
Can the Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store play together?
Because the game uses Ubisoft dedicated servers, there is full cross-platform support across all platforms. This means that no matter which PC version you are on you can play together, as can those on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
It’s highly unlikely Steam support will ever be added. However, if it is, becauseSkull and Bonesuse Ubisoft dedicated servers, it’s very likely it would as well and thus would be cross-platform too. All platforms can playSkull and Bonestogether on the same servers, which is definitely nice.

So whileSkull and Bonesis not on Steam, you do have plenty of options to purchase and jump into the game.
