That said, I have to appreciate the papercraft art and visual fidelityColor Splashis pulling off. It looks (and sounds) so dope! For me, that will probably be reason enough to play, much likeKirby and the Rainbow Curse, another Wii U title whose aesthetic I enjoy more than its gameplay.

Paper Mario: Color Splashis at this week’s San Diego Comic-Con, and the fellows at GameXplain have captured a solid ten minutes of footage from the haunted Dark Bloo Inn. Do yourself a favor andat leastwatch the dancing piggybank shown at nine minutes in. That’s a breakout moment.
