Claro Walnut Lumber is used in many high level recipes inFinal Fantasy XIV, from weapons to housing items and collectables. It’s usually paired with another resource,Ra’Kaznar Ingots, and some other ingredients which provide level 99 or 100 items.

Before you can make lumber, you need to gather some logs. Claro Walnut Logs aren’t too difficult to find, as long as you know where to look and you’ve got sufficiently qualified Botanist.

How to get Claro Walnut Logs in Final Fantasy XIV

To get Claro Walnut Logs, you’ll need to head to Heritage Found. More specifically, you’ll want to use the EastYyasulaniAetheryte, as the gathering location for Claro Walnut Logs is just south of this teleport location.

The nodes you’ll want to gather from are all level 100, although Claro Walnut Logs themselves are a level 97 resource. You’ll find three pairs of nodes in the area, but they are located a fair distance from each other, so you may want to use themarker trickto make them easier to find. Otherwise, you’re able to use Arbor Call to find the closest node when you finish with a previous one.

Where to get Claro Walnut Logs in Final Fantasy XIV

If you’re struggling to gather Claro Walnut Logs because your percentage isn’t at 100%, you can use your Field Mastery actions to give yourself a boost. Otherwise, if you encounter a node that increases your gathering attempts, it’s a good idea not to let your GP go to waste and use Blessed Harvest actions to gather more Logs.

How to make and use Claro Walnut Lumber in Final Fantasy XIV

Once you’ve got the basic logs, turning them into Lumber isn’t all that difficult, though you’ll need to get your Carpenter level up to at least 95 before you’re able to attempt to craft the level 95 recipe. There’s only one ingredient to this recipe, aside from the Wind Crystals, and that’s five Claro Walnut Logs per length of lumber.

Finally, if you’ve managed to clearWorqor Lar Dor (Extreme), and had some good rolls on theitemsthat drop, you may have a Ruinous Plume to hand. This can be combined with some other resources to craft the Skyruin Trophy (shown above), the recipe for which is learned from Master Armorer X:
