Now, he’ll prove troublesome in the Battle Royale map, utilizing his Sovereign Shotgun to bring you down. Where to find Mysterio in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4
Locate Mysterio at theDoomstadt sectionof theFortniteBattle Royale map. Keep an eye on the medallion icon in the mini-map to narrow down his destination. If you don’t see it there, other players have likely taken him down already, meaning you’ll have to wait until the next match.
UnlikeEmma Frost, Mysterio doesn’t necessarily have a set place in Doomstadt. I’ve primarily seen around theDoctor Doomstatue and, occasionally, inside buildings.
How to defeat Mysterio in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4
Mysterio has two tricks up his sleeves as an illusionist:teleportation and duplication. When you first shoot at him (any gun will work), he’ll eventually teleport himself out there and initiate a surprise attack against you. He’ll then make multiple clones of himself to throw you enough even more, and you can spot the real one with his distinct health bars.
Fortunately, Mysterio’s pretty easy to defeat, shooting him down in just a few minutes. However, the difficult part will be the other players around you. To prepare for this, I recommend going to Doomstadt as soon as possible and looting chests for some gear. It may take a few times to do with all the chaos going on, but with the right preparation, it should be a reasonably quick battle.
Once he’s down, grab Mysterio’s loot, including the Medallion and Mythic Sovereign Shotgun. You can claim 20K XP, too, via the Quest section. It’ll be under the ‘Defeat Doom, Emma Frost, or Mysterio’ task inFortniteChapter 5, Season 4.
