Wipin’ out, Wipeout, Wipin out, Wipeout…
Publisher Wired Productions has dropped a cool new feature onto light-speed racing titleGRIP.The free update, which is live today on PS4, PC and Xbox One, adds a range of slick anti-gravity vehicles, or “AirBlades” to the game’s garage.
Immediately leaping on the obvious similarities betweenGRIPand two popular PS1 racing franchises, Wired Productions Managing Director Leo Zullo noted “I’m pretty sure ifWipeOutandRollcagehooked up, this is the baby they’d pop out. It’s beyond exciting to finally be able to reveal AirBlades, as we see it as a true game changer.”

Players are now able to take to the starting line in either RollersorAirBlades, racing for the finish line while unleashing mayhem along the way. The update also includes several new tracks, though the AirBlades are retroactively compatible with every course inGRIPto date.
GRIP: Combat Racingis available now on PS4, PC and Xbox One. A Nintendo Switch port is currently in development and is expected to launch toward the end of May.
