It’s out April 6 for $13

Thanks to its simple but eye-catching art direction,Graceful Explosion Machinestood out to me among Nintendo’sbig listof Switch indies. We’ve known that it would be one of the early non-port eShop titles with its planned April launch, and things are moving fast — it’s coming next Thursday, April 6.

This is a dash-happy, combo-building shoot-’em-up in which your titular vessel can employ four different weapon types: a blaster, a beam, a missile launcher, and my favorite, an energy sword.

Developer Vertex Pop says to expect “30+ levels across 4 unique worlds.” There’s no co-op mode (which I only mention because it’s been a point of emphasis for the Switch), but the price seems right.
