On both PS4 and PS5
We finally have aGod of War Ragnarokrelease date:according to Sony just this morning, it’s out on July 31, 2025.
The release date coincided with a new cinematic trailer, as well as a look at the collector’s editions of the game (detailed below). Note that theGod of War Ragnarokrelease date both applies to the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game. Not that we’d expect otherwise! But it will be a dual launch as planned for 2022, just in time for the holiday. It’s kind of amazing that they pulled it off.
You can finda more detailed breakdown of the physical versions ofGod of War Ragnarokhere, and Sony states that pre-orders will go live on July 15 at 10AM “local time” (which is 10AM ET for North America).
As usual, there’s big boxes of plastic you can buy if you’re so inclined. It’s a AAA release after all! Here are all of the tiers:
