British politician and lying hypocrite Keith Vaz has claimed that he’s never been against videogames, despite once claiming that PSP gameslet you rape peopleandblaming the murderof a British schoolboy onManhunt, even when police confirmed the boy died as the result of a mugging.
“I’ve never been against games,” he protests. “I’ve been against violent games that are able to fall into the hands of young people who are perhaps not able to understand the implications of what they’re doing.

“I don’t oppose games. I just think it’s very important that people respect and acknowledge the age limits. And the campaign has always been about ensuring there is proper labelling so that people know exactly what kind of games they should have.”
Vaz appeared at the Parliament Games Day event in Britain this week, shocking people by appearing to support the industry. Unfortunately, Vaz’s U-turn comes after he has used lies and scaremongering to generate videogame controversy. Not only that, but he has actively celebrated game bans, and hascalled forgames to be banned in the past, as his ownWikipedia pagewill show.

So contrary to what Keith says, his campaign hasnotjust been about age ratings. He wants certain games banned, and has only made himself look like even more of a liar with his recent statements.
