‘You’re doing this for the planet’
[extremely nerds voice] “You’re doing this for the planet, same as us!”
There’s a bit of actual, early gameplay from theFinal Fantasy VIIPS4 remakeannounced at E3 this year. you may see a bit of the, “more realistic gameplay” they’re said to be going for with a more dynamic,Final Fantasy XVstyle game, unless it’s more turn-based than it looks coupled with dynamic angles and auto movement (likeFinal Fantasy XIII).
There’s contextual environment stuff like in the original, which is pretty cool, though it looks less doofy than jumping. But I always worried about a potential remake losing the original level design, which features way more verticality than most JRPGs, so it’s cool that some of that seems intact.
Plus, Barret just walking around cool-like in shades.
