Lightning will return to Eorzea in September
Square Enix will celebrate the one-year anniversary ofFinal Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn‘slaunch starting this month. Although the game technically launched on August 27, it’ll be celebrating all throughout August and September, kicking off with fanart.
There will also be seasonal events, extra videos, livestreams, and contests running throughout — you can checkthe full schedule here. The one-year anniversary free login campaign will run from August 22 until September 1.
One of the most notable events is probably the return of Lightning since her debut earlier this year in special FATE events. She’ll be wandering around the game from September 1 through Sept. 10. Enemies fromDragon Quest Xwill also make an appearance mid-September.
