Once you’ve unlocked theRaccoonsin their Cindersap Forest home inStardew Valley, you’ll have requests to complete in order to unlock further family members. The first of these, Mrs. Raccoon, comes with her own shop, and you don’t need Gold to purchase her wares.
Unlike other vendors inStardew Valley, Mrs. Raccoon has no use for Gold and instead chooses to use a barter system. In exchange for junk and other items, you can get some rare items and seeds.

After completing the firstrequestfor Mr. Raccoon, his wife will show up the following day, and you’ll have access to her shop. The stock of her shop expands after completing each request for Mr. Raccoon, although she starts out with a selection of seeds that are usually obtained from Seed Spots.
