Dizzy will be added toGuilty Gear Xrd: Revelator‘s roster of playable characters tomorrow, Monday, July 18, Arc System Works and series creatorDaisuke Ishiwatari announced at the conclusion of the fighting game’s competition at EVO 2016 in Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon.
She will be available as a free download for an unspecified “limited” period of time.
Prior to now, Dizzy has only had a role inGuilty Gear Xrd‘s story mode, despite being a playable character in previous entries in the series, but was selected by fans in a popular vote last fall as the character they most wanted to see make a return. With nearly 33,000 virtual ballots cast in Japanese arcades, she managed to narrowly beat out both Bridget and Baiken by a few hundred votes.
Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelatoris out now for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 worldwide.
