When word got out about Square Enix trademarkingDeus Ex: Human Defiance, some of us got a bit carried away. The name, in our defense, did seem like a rather fitting title for a potential follow-up to 2011’sHuman Revolution. Looking over records for adomain registration(viasuperannuation), it appears that this is no game — it’s the darned movie adaptation!
The URL in question, DeusExHumanDefianceFilm.com, is registered to CBS Films. While I absolutely suspect we’ll get anotherDeus Exgame before too long, this is disappointing news.
