Pure White World Tendency event to celebrate
Despite the game being a few years old at this point, people are still going back to experienceDemon’s Soulsthanks to a growing interest inDark Soulsand its direct sequel. As such, it will be a particularly welcome addition to PlayStation Network when it arrives on May 16, 2025 for the reasonable price of $19.99.
Having only recently gotten around to picking up a copy ofDemon’s Soulsand proceeding to spend a literal day beating the darned thing, I was surprised by how lively the online community was from essentially beginning to end. The servers are still very much active, thank goodness. A shout out is in order to the kindhearted person who took down the Blue Dragon for me.
Beyond the intrinsic benefit of summoning other players so you aren’t the singular focus of enemies’ attacks, the online functionality will offer an extra benefit next week. Atlus has plans for anotherPure White World Tendencyevent beginning January 8 and concluding January 14. If you ever got stuck inDemon’s Souls, this will be a good time to try again.
