The WDR Radio Orchestra performed the newest concert from producerThomas Böckerand his team at Merregnon Studios on just last week on November 16. Being in attendance, I can tell you it was a truly fantastic show, featuring a wide mix of complex and sophisticated arrangements including the 20 minuteFinal Fantasypiano concerto with world famous pianist Benyamin Nuss, a heart-wrenchingJourneypiece by composer Austin Wintory himself, and an absolutely breathtaking arrangement ofTwilight Princess’s“Light Spirit,” which was awarded a standing ovation from the audience.
