As it turns out, if you buyHalo 5at a military base in the US, you can net a special commemorative coin with your purchase. The bonuswas uncovered over at redditand has since been independently verified by some — with others noting that not all locations carry the coin.
A lot of people in the thread seem confused, especially those who don’t live in the states. Military bases are like little cities of their own, with plenty of shops (known as Base Exchanges/BXs/PXs) and outlets to choose from, some of which sell electronics. Anyone with a military ID can get you on base if you’re interested, though they will likely have to buy it during the actual checkout process with said ID.
