Criterion Games have updated their official Web site with word that a major patch forBurnout Paradisethat will be coming to both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 23. Codenamed “Bogart” (because all patches need a codename now), the update is so serious that Criterion have created a countdown so that Burnout fans can plan accordingly.
This secondBurnout Paradiseupdate fixes a whole bunch of issues, most of which I wasn’t even aware of. Take this one, for instance: “Hammering the A (360) or X (PS3) after unlocking a car can cause the game to hang.” Who exactly was doing that, and can you please relax? Others seem more reasonable, like the bug which caused “some online race start points [to] face players in the wrong direction.” Yeah, that would be a problem.

Hit the jump for the full list of fixes, and let us know if Criterion has missed anything. (No, “put a real crash mode into the game, you guys suck” is not a valid complaint.)
