Blue Mary, the baggy-pants lovin’ bone-breaker, will be making her return to the ring in SNK’sKing of Fighters XIVnext week.
Mary, who originally debuted inFatal Fury 3back in 1995, made her firstKing of Fightersappearance inKoF ’97. The petite wrassler closes the distance feet-first via dives and flips, before transitioning to painful joint locks once she hits her mark.
HerKoF XIViteration is rockin’ slightly shorter pants, she has also abandoned her classic buckled boots for some ice-white kicks. I’m a bit disappointed to see her badass sculpted guns have been somewhat trimmed into noodle arms reminiscent of my own, but at least her wrestling skills, heel-hooks and playful attitude are present and correct. All that’s missing now is her ever-faithful doge, Anton.
Blue Mary joinsOswald,HeidernandNajdas a quartet of upcoming DLC characters. All four will be made available to purchase on April 12, when SNK drop the Version 3.0 update, which also contains bug fixes and balance changes for the team-based brawler.
