Hopefully sooner than later
As the gradual descent into the holiday season becomes more and more inevitable, game studios beginning to shut down their operations in favor of rest, relaxation, and end of the year festivities. After all, why reveal anything too ground-breaking when no one’s paying attention anyway? Anyone hopingMass Effectmight break this mold is sorely mistaken.
Aaryn Flynn, the GM of BioWare, hastweetedthat he hopes the studio will be able to share more information about the nextMass Effectinstallment in 2014, adding “that’s the most specific I can be.” BioWare’s been teasing this next title for quite a while, so hopefully the new year will at least bring about a proper reveal.
Of course, it’s not like BioWare’s sitting around doing nothing. It’s (presumably) hard at work onDragon Age: Inquisition, as well as a new IP and possibly aStar Warsgame. Hopefully it makes time soon for its pals in theMass Effectuniverse.
