Doom The Dark Ageshas a fair amount of weapons to wield, but not all of them are built equally.
You will keep unlocking new guns as you clear the main chapters. Every gun in the game fits into specific archetypes, and they’re all good for something. But some of the weapons are simply better in damage potential. This tier list will help you to separate the wolves from the sheep and prioritize the best weapons.

There are over 10 weapons to unlock inDoom The Dark Ages, and the process is pretty easy. Once you have enough weapons at your disposal, you’ll have to choose the best ones possible. I have used four different tiers for classifying the weapons.
While damage is an important factor of consideration for the tier list, I have also considered how easy/difficult it is to use a particular weapon. Some weapons have made it to high tiers because you’ll almost never run out of their ammo, and they’re more versatile.

I have excluded items like the Saw and Power Gauntlets. You’ll find that they’re classified as weapons in the game, but I consider them as your defense. The Saw, in particular, can also classify as an S-tier weapon once you get a few upgrades in.
