Water decks have always had a solid place in thePokémon TCG Pocketmeta, especially with Misty being such a feast-or-famine card. So if you’re looking to play the best Water decks inPokémon TCG Pocket, here’s what you need to know.

Pokémon TCG Pocket best Water decks

Team Palkia

This decklist makes use of both Palkia Ex and Origin Forme Palkia as your main damage dealers. The idea here is to build them up quickly with Manaphy and/or Misty while using Vaporeon’s Wash Out ability to move your Energy as necessary. The strength of the deck doesn’t just lie in Palkia’s raw damage output but also its flexibility with how you’re moving Energy around.

There’s a catch, of course. If you low roll even a little bit, you can struggle against Electric-type decks, and that’ll most likely result in a loss for you.

Wugtrio Ex

I’m a huge fan of Wugtrio Ex, not because it has a high win rate but because matches go by so quickly whether you win or lose, making this a fantastic deck to take with you intoranked mode. Your only basic Pokémon here are Wiglett and Manaphy, and that’s pretty much all you need.

Ideally, you’ll want to start with Wiglett, but if you start with Manaphy, use that to build up Energy on your Bench. Using Pokémon Communication is key here, and you’ll need to use it smartly with Poké Ball. For instance, if you have both Pokémon Communication and Poké Ball in your hand and you’re looking for your Wugtrio Ex, use Communication to send one of your Basics to fish for it, then use Poké Ball to bring that Basic back.

Efficient use of your Supporter cards will help ensure that you always have the tools you need in hand, even with such a low Pokémon count in your deck. After that, it’s just a matter of trying to high roll with Misty and slapping your opponent with Pop Out Throughout. This deck is a little RNG-dependent, but it’s a lot of fun, and you’ll be surprised by how quickly it gets you through your ranked matches.

And those are our picks for the best Water decks to build inPokémon TCG Pocket. If you’re looking for moreFire decks to play, we’ve got you covered on that front as well.
