This time, for North America

Last week we were shown theUK-exclusiveBatman: Arkham OriginsCollector’s Edition. Now, it’s time for argument because the North American Collector’s Edition has been detailed. The biggest change is the giant statue. The North American version is all about the rogues, leaving Batman out completely. I’m okay with that. He featured prominently enough in the last two greatArkhamCollector’s Editions.

Aside from the statue we have: an 80-page, hardcover art book; two pieces of Gotham PD evidence (a casino chip and a tooth); a dossier on the eight assassins targeting Batman; a skin from Batman’s first ever appearance; the Deathstroke Challenge Pack; andNecessary Evil: Super-Villains of DC Comics,a documentary on Batman’s villains. There are a few other odds and ends, like a weird family portrait of the Wayne family. The PS3 version also comes with the exclusive Knightfall pack.

Okay. Hash it out. Which Collector’s Edition is better? It comes down to the statue, I think, but both are rather excellent. I prefer the straight Joker, North American option slightly. What about you? Anyone over Collector’s Editions yet? I thinkCatherine‘s is the only I’ve picked up this generation.
