The story, titled “Soul Chronicle” will take place over an interactive timeline featuring the entire cast. Set between 1583 and 1590 A.D. Soul Chronicle will tell the back story of theSoulcaliburseries, reaching back as far as events prior to theSoulcaliburand pushing forward from there....

Nintendo’s E3 stream keeps going Today during the after-conference “whatever goes” stream, Nintendo broke downthe new Inkling fighterthat’s comingtoSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate. Along with eight different costumes and gender options, the Inkling can use the splattershot to cover enemies in ink, which increases your damage output on that particular foe. Your inktank meter on your back is actually accurate (and shows up near your life percentage now), and you’ll need to recharge your ink with shield+B — without ink you’ll do less damage....

Company’s new crowdfunding thing launches The pilot phase ofSquare Enix Collective, a platform in which companies can solicit feedback on pitches and potentially crowdfund through Indiegogo with assistance from Square Enix, has kicked off with its first three studios: Ruffian Games, Kitfox Games, and Tuque Games. You can see cast a simple “yes” or “no” vote for these pitcheson the Collective site. “At the end of the 28-day period, if there’s enough community support, the teams could be offered the chance to be supported through crowdfunding via a partnership between Square Enix and Indiegogo — and if the team hits their target, that’s when the game will go into development....

Downgrade WhileCivilization VImixed-up quite a bit about the mechanics of the series, one of the more contentious changes among fans dealt with the visuals. Some people were turned off by the cartoonish look of the game and longed to have something similar to its immediate predecessor,Civilization V. While I had no problem with the art style, even I have to admit that the more realistic tone ofValmost fitsCivilizationbetter. Thankfully, we can now have the best of both worlds....

Wonder from Down Under returns March 31 We’re just a few weeks away from the return of boomerang-swinging hero TY the Tasmanian Tiger, as the HD remaster of the 2002 platformer launches on Nintendo Switch March 31, following avery successful crowdfunding campaign. The Kickstarter –held by developer Krome Studios back in August 2019– saw a grand total of over $130,000 USD raised from an initial target of $50,000. The success of the crowdfunding campaign has also guaranteed ports on PS4 and Xbox One, which are expected to arrive in the very near future....
