Mystery new title on the way to Nintendo Switch During today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, the industry giant revealed that longtime Pokemon developer Game Freak are currently beavering away at a mysterious new RPG, currently known by the working title of “Town.” While the company kept their cards very close to their chest regarding details of this strange new product, we did get to see a clip of the game in action, and it looks mighty purty so far....

Take-Two accuses Pinkerton of trying to profit off of RDR2 success Late last week, detective agency Pinkerton sent a cease and desist letter toRed Dead Redemption 2publisher Take-Two over the use of the Pinkerton name in Rockstar’s latest hit game. Characters Andrew Milton and Edgar Ross were under fire for potentially confusing customers into thinking the game was made by or connected to the agency. Take-Two is now suing Pinkerton on the grounds of fair use and arguing that the name is another detail inRDR2’simmersive setting....

ColePowered Games has announced that their procedural detective game,Shadows of Doubt, will get its first big content update on September 25. TheCheats and Liarsupdate will not only come with some bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, but it will also let you investigate infidelity. Shadows of Doubtreleased into Early Access this past April. It casts you as a private investigator in a randomly generated chunk of city. Beyond the simple placement of buildings, every citizen, along with their home, workplace, and routine, are generated, as are the crimes....

The Dera’s Incarnon form is worth looking at because what was once a solid assault rifle can now shoot powerful lasers with its alternate fire. Not only did the classic characterget a full-on redesign, but that re-debut trailer extremely leaned into the Green Hill Zone and Sonic’s retro roots. Just a month away from release, the new official music video is leaning in even harder. The song is called “Speed Me Up,” featuring Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Yachty & Sueco the Child, and begins with the former blowing into a cartridge and playing a faux retro game based on the film....
