Wii heroes headed your way Another batch of attractive anime heroes are headed toward Nintendo’s free-to-play mobile titleFire Emblem Heroes. In the update, all four characters are derived from the 2007 Wii releaseFire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. The event, titled “Rulers of the Laguz” will include the angelic Leanne, King of the Hawks Tibarn, the temperamental Reyson and stoic wolf-woman Nailah. The four characters will also be bringing a new paralogue chapter “Countdown” so you can try out their respective abilities....

Wookie-approved deals WinGameStore, a digital retailer that sells Windows games (shocking), is running two big sales events this weekend from two major angles. Windup Games, a studio founded mainly by industry veterans and former staff from Coldwood Interactive (Unravel,Unravel Two), hasrevealed itsdebut game, Hela. It’s an open-world adventure involving mice; it’s coming to PC and consoles, and it’s the best thing I’ve seen this morning. The trailer shows off two mice trying to figure out some sort of puzzle involving a hanging pair of eyeglasses while not waking a cat. As fans would probably expect by now,Mortal Kombat 1requires players to jump through some hoops to unlock its entire character roster. Havik, the cleric of chaos, isn’t there from the start of the game, but getting him is surprisingly straightforward. In order to unlock Havik, players need only complete the game’s story mode. The story itself isincredibly convoluted, but the story mode shouldn’t be too challenging. Remember whenMortal Kombatgames required you to beat a massive sub-boss like Goro or Motaro, then face the ridiculously overpowered Shao Khan?...
