Delta, I guess? As part of thePlaystation Showcase 2023, Sony has revealed that theMetal Gear Solid: Snake Eaterremake is actually real. It is confirmed to be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. They’ve also shown off a teaser trailer that doesn’t reveal a whole lot. It starts off with a bunch of animals fighting each other, and then Naked Snake reveals himself. Still, just the confirmation that this exists is a pretty big deal....

Best of 2013 When all of us are dead and gone, shooting games will most likely live on. Plants vs Zombies 2 release dated for Spring Prepare to defend yourself from an all new zombie onslaught as PopCap Games has just announced a sequel toPlants vs. Zombies. Scheduled for release in Spring 2013,Plants vs. Zombies 2will feature new scenarios to keep your lawn safe from. There will also be new plants and zombies and, hopefully, that means more quirky humor and fun. No word yet on what platforms PopCap plans to release the game on, but I suspect it will eventually be available on everything from phones and tablets to consoles and browsers....

I must admit a tiny bit of trepidation when I was about to start playingGodsrule, the cross-platform, browser-based MMORTS. A persistent RTS inspired by Scandinavian mythology? Sounds right up my street, I thought. But visions of the many horrors I have witnessed in Facebook games and their ilk came to the fore, and I was left uncertain. After a couple of days of village construction, recruiting, and finally a climactic battle in which developer Jónas Antonsson thoroughly trounced me, I’m left with a significantly more positive impression of the game....
