The graphics card wars seem to be kicking off again. Not only is AMD releasing theRadeon RX 7600 XT, but Nvidia recently announced threeRTX 4000 series SUPER GPUs. It was surprising to see that Konami had such a sizable presence (with a prime location, across from Marvel) at New York Comic Con. You know what this day is going to be? It’s going to be announcements of a whole lot of stuff that I’m not getting to do because I’m not at New York Comic-Con. Adding to the list of playable demos on the show floor isMarvel Super-Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet, the kid-oriented brawler featuring super-deformed Marvel heroes. Okay, maybe I’m not all that excited about that. But THQ will also be giving awaySuper-Hero Squadmerchandise at their booth (#1843) and I love the character designs that they have for this series, so I’m still a little bummed....
Blizzard Entertainmentannounced it’s joining the growing list of games with K-pop crossovers, this time withOverwatch 2. The hero shooter will host its first-ever, in-game musical event in collaboration with popular K-pop girl group Le Sserafim. The five-member girl group under HYBE consists of Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae. The powerhouse girl group debuted in May 2022 with their title track ‘Fearless’. Since their debut, they’ve taken the K-pop industry by storm as well as the gaming scene....

Developer genDESIGN, the creators of critically acclaimed titlesIco,Shadow of the Colossus, andThe Last Guardian, have revealed their next title. Even though there’s not even a title yet, the brief teaser trailer certainly gives the classic world-building vibes the creators are known for. The game will be published by Epic Games Publishing, and will be available on the Epic Games Store, PlayStation, and Xbox. The Tokyo-based team is led by game director Fumito Ueda....
