Mess of men make Middle-Earth in Minecraft

It seems like every week someone creates something new and utterly absurd inMinecraft. With people making everything from a to-scale replica ofHogwarts, a massive network of music boxes that playPortal‘s “Still Alive”, a3D printeror even the planetEarth, each project blows the old ones away. This time around, a group of guys has recreated the entirety of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-Earth. It’s not full-size, with some parts being 1:4 and 1:3 scale, but it’s still damned impressive....

Then there’s alsoThe Real Texas, which Patrick deemed “a bizarre yet satisfying mix of gameplay elements wrapped up in a surprisingly eloquent story with a damn good sense of humor....

Okay, maybe I’m not all that excited about that. But THQ will also be giving awaySuper-Hero Squadmerchandise at their booth (#1843) and I love the character designs that they have for this series, so I’m still a little bummed....

RetroforceGO! records episode 89 tonight: Punch-Out!!

Yes, it’s early! And given the tone of the past couple of episodes, that might be a good thing. Perhaps recording earlier in the week will stave off our appetite for nonsense. Probably not, though. In any case, the full cast is back this week and we’re ready to commemorate the release ofPunch-Out!!for the Wiiwith an episode all about the franchise. If you’ve ever listened to our show, you’re well aware of Colette’s deep-seeded hatred for Soda Popinski, Chad’s penchant for punching elderly women in the face, and our collective overall love of beating the crap out of people on the whole....
