Being in attendance, I can tell you it was a truly fantastic show, featuring a wide mix of complex and sophisticated arrangements including the 20 minuteFinal Fantasypiano concerto with world famous pianist Benyamin Nuss, a heart-wrenchingJourneypiece by composer Austin Wintory himself, and an absolutely breathtaking arrangement ofTwilight Princess’s“Light Spirit,” which was awarded a standing ovation from the audience....

As the obsessiveDynasty Warriorsfan I am, I make it a point to check out each and every game that copies Koei’s formula, to see if anybody does what Koei doesn’t and actually improves the idea of the ‘beat-em-all’ gameplay style. So far, the results have been disappointing —DrakengardandSpartan: Total Warriorwere both awful, while Capcom’sDevil Kingswas so bad I felt raped every time I finished playing it. It didn’t help that the game had been totally ruined in between its transition from Japan, where it was calledSengoku Basara, to the western territories....

The mud-slinging sequel is now expected to launch November 6 on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.In an announcement on Twitter, the British developerthanked fans for their ongoing supportand admitted that it “sucks” thatDirt 5has been further delayed. $3.99 Valve is testing the waters with a $3.99 monthly subscription service toDota 2, which is priced low enough where any dedicated, daily player will probably bother to buy into it. It’s called “Dota Plus,” and will take over the previous Battle Pass, providing players with a shard currency, as well as new tiers of badges, chat wheel responses, and rewards.
